Terms of Service

SentiTel is intended for informational and educational purposes only and does not provide legal, financial, banking, cybersecurity, fraud investigation, or emergency services advice.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using SentiTel (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users, including individuals and organizations using the Service through a web browser, mobile application, beta app, TestFlight app, or other supported client.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service.
SentiTel is operated by Subtle Approach LLC. References to "SentiTel," "we," "our," or "us" mean Subtle Approach LLC operating the SentiTel service.
2. Description of Service
SentiTel is a VoIP calling and AI scam-detection platform. The Service may:
- Place outbound VoIP calls.
- Transcribe and analyze call audio for potential scam risk.
- Search public sources for phone-number and business verification.
- Analyze screenshots, photos, and uploaded image files for scam indicators.
- Perform OCR or similar extraction of visible text, phone numbers, URLs, company names, and other details from uploaded files.
- Provide AI-generated summaries, red flags, recommendations, and follow-up chat responses.
- Display call history, transcripts, scan results, and risk analysis to registered users.
The Service is an assistive tool to raise user awareness. It is not a substitute for personal judgment, professional advice, official company contact channels, law enforcement, financial institutions, or emergency services.
3. Beta Testing Notice
SentiTel may be offered as a beta or TestFlight app to invited users. Beta versions may contain bugs, interruptions, inaccurate AI analysis, incomplete transcripts, incorrect OCR, missing data, or incorrect risk assessments. During beta, you should avoid relying on SentiTel for important decisions and should report issues to amin@sentitels.com.
4. AI Detection Limitations - Critical Warnings
- AI scam detection is probabilistic, not guaranteed.
- Sophisticated or novel scam techniques, including social engineering, deepfake audio, spoofed numbers, fake websites, manipulated screenshots, and multi-stage fraud, may not be detected.
- A low risk score or "safe" result does not mean a call, message, website, screenshot, business, or phone number is safe.
- A high risk score does not mean a call, message, website, screenshot, business, or phone number is definitely fraudulent.
- OCR, transcription, business lookup, source citation, and AI chat responses may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.
- You are responsible for all decisions made during and after a call or scan, regardless of any SentiTel output.
- Never share passwords, OTP codes, banking credentials, Social Security numbers, payment information, remote access, crypto wallet details, or other sensitive information based on caller or message instructions.
5. User Responsibilities
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, disable, overload, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
- Not use the Service for harassment, stalking, surveillance, impersonation, fraud, spam, robocalling, or illegal activity.
- Use your own judgment and independently verify suspicious communications through official sources.
6. Call Recording, Transcription, and Consent
- Both sides of a call may be streamed, temporarily processed, transcribed, and analyzed by AI for scam-detection purposes.
- Call transcripts, metadata, and analysis results may be stored and associated with your account.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring that all parties to any call have consented to recording, transcription, monitoring, and AI analysis where consent is required by law.
- Call recording and consent laws vary by jurisdiction. SentiTel does not provide legal advice about those laws.
7. Uploaded Files, OCR, and Scan Chat
- Uploaded files may be processed by AI for scam detection.
- OCR or similar extraction may identify visible text, URLs, phone numbers, company names, payment instructions, account references, and other details.
- Uploaded files, OCR/extracted content, scan analysis, and scan chat may be retained for up to 90 days.
- You must have the right to upload the file and must not upload unlawful, abusive, or highly sensitive content unless necessary for your own protective use.
- Scan results and chat responses are informational only and may be wrong.
8. No Emergency Services
SentiTel is not an emergency service and should not be used for emergency calls, 911/E911 calls, urgent safety situations, medical emergencies, or situations requiring immediate help. If you have an emergency, contact emergency services directly through a reliable phone service.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
- The Service may not detect all scams or prevent financial loss.
- Risk scores, OCR, transcripts, business lookup, source citations, or chat responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unreliable.
- The Service may be interrupted, unavailable, insecure, or contain vulnerabilities.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SUBTLE APPROACH LLC (OPERATING AS SENTITEL), ITS FOUNDERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO:
- Your use of or reliance on the Service, including any risk score, alert, recommendation, OCR result, citation, transcript, analysis, or chat response.
- Your failure to detect a scam or fraud, whether or not the Service issued a warning.
- Any financial loss, identity theft, account compromise, cybersecurity issue, or other harm resulting from a call, message, screenshot, website, file, or communication analyzed by the Service.
- Any unauthorized access to your account or data.
- Actions or omissions of third parties, including callers, scammers, telecommunications providers, AI providers, or hosting providers.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failures, delays, interruptions, inaccuracies, or losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, telecommunications failures, cloud provider outages, AI provider outages, cyberattacks, natural disasters, labor disputes, governmental actions, or other events outside our reasonable control.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Subtle Approach LLC operating as SentiTel and its founders, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, violation of law or third-party rights, calls placed without required consent, or files you upload.
13. Account Termination
SentiTel may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or other users, or use the Service unlawfully. You may delete your account in Settings or request deletion by contacting amin@sentitels.com.
14. Changes to Terms
SentiTel may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Subtle Approach LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
