1. Who We Are
SentiTel is a scam detection and VoIP calling platform operated by Subtle Approach LLC. References to "SentiTel," "we," "our," or "us" mean Subtle Approach LLC operating the SentiTel service.

2. Beta Testing Notice
SentiTel may be made available to invited users as a beta or TestFlight app. Beta versions may contain errors, interruptions, inaccurate AI analysis, incomplete transcripts, or incorrect scam-risk assessments. During beta testing, we may receive crash logs, diagnostic data, and tester feedback through Apple TestFlight, Expo/EAS, or similar testing tools.

4. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and improve SentiTel.
- Place calls, transcribe call audio, and analyze calls for scam risk.
- Search public sources for phone-number and business verification.
- Analyze uploaded screenshots, photos, and files for scam patterns.
- Perform OCR and extract visible text, numbers, URLs, and related details.
- Answer follow-up questions based on scan results and extracted text.
- Display call history, scan results, transcripts, and risk analysis to you.
- Send verification, account, and password reset emails.
- Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Debug errors and improve reliability during beta testing.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Call Audio and Transcripts
Call audio may be temporarily written to disk during processing so that the final transcript can be generated. We delete call audio after final transcription is completed, typically within minutes after the call ends.
Call transcripts are retained in redacted form. Raw unredacted transcripts exist only transiently during processing. You can delete your call history from within the Service where available.
6. Uploaded Files, OCR, and Scan Chat
When you upload a screenshot, photo, or image file for Scan analysis, the file may be sent to an AI provider so SentiTel can analyze scam indicators. The analysis may include OCR or similar extraction of text, phone numbers, URLs, company names, payment requests, urgency language, visual details, and other content visible in the uploaded file.
Uploaded files, OCR/extracted content, scan analysis results, and scan chat messages are not retained for more than 90 days. They may be deleted sooner if you delete the related scan, delete your account, or request deletion.
7. Third-Party Services
- Twilio: VoIP call routing and audio streaming.
- Google Gemini API: AI transcription, OCR/image analysis, scam analysis, and scan chat responses.
- Google Places API: Phone number and business lookup.
- Resend: Transactional email delivery.
- Amazon Web Services: Server hosting and infrastructure.
- Apple TestFlight and Expo/EAS: Beta distribution, crash logs, diagnostics, updates, and tester feedback when applicable.
By using SentiTel, you acknowledge that call audio, transcripts, uploaded image content, OCR/extracted content, and related context may be transmitted to third-party infrastructure for processing.
8. Data Retention
- Call audio: Deleted after final transcription, typically within minutes.
- Raw unredacted transcripts: Transient processing only.
- Redacted transcripts and call analysis: Retained until you delete them, close your account, or request deletion, unless a shorter period is required by law or operational policy.
- Uploaded files, OCR/extracted content, scan analysis, and scan chat: Retained for no more than 90 days.
- Account data: Retained until you delete your account in Settings or request deletion, subject to legal, security, and anti-abuse needs.
- Server logs and diagnostics: Retained for up to 30 days unless longer retention is needed for security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.
9. Security
We use reasonable security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, password hashing, session management, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure.
10. Your Rights and Choices
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Delete call history or scan results from within the Service where available.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing amin@sentitels.com.
- Stop using the Service at any time.
If an in-app account deletion option is not available during beta, you may email amin@sentitels.com and we will process the deletion request.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notice.
